What we have learned from making our swedes

From making the swede became prosumer because we produced the content and consumed it on the internet.First we watched Freddy Vs Jason then we produce our own film.Synergy was also used with all of our social media sites and blog so fans can stay up to date.
I also learned about cross media convergence where companies will create media which is linked to their film in order to promote it and the media created is also promoted in/by the film,it was used in our group when we created our posters for our swede ;these were all linked to the film but would not necessarily have been created if the swede wasn't.

Global audience was also featured because people all over the world watch our video because youtube is a worldwide phenomenom.

Film industry

Before a company makes a film there are a number of things needed to be done before such as ,finding actors to play character roles (casting),script writing and editing, although the most important are:production, distribution ,marketing and exhibition.

Here are the five steps taken before a film is made
The first stage is Development in which the ideas for the film are created, rights to books/plays are bought and the screenplay is written. Financing for the project has to be sought and green lit.

Pre-production—Preparations are made for the shoot, in which cast and film crew are hired, locations are selected, and sets are built.

Production—The raw elements for the film are recorded during the film shoot.
Post-Production—The images, sound, and visual effects of the recorded film are edited. .

Distribution—The finished film is distributed (the film is taken to a festival) and screened in cinemas and/or released on Home entertainment. For example  adverts on YouTube,TV ,posters or on newspaper front pages the latest movies out ,convincing people to watch the film .Majority of films are distributed on the weekend ,this is because a large amount of regular cinema goers go to the cinema on a weekend ;this is due to being busy during the week.

Marketing is the process of promoting a film.
This can be done in a variety of ways
-Bill boards
-posters
-leaflets
-Press events
-social media adverts
-trailers on tv
-chat shows with actors
-Premiere
-Early preview

Exhibit the process where the audience get view the film.
The exhibit process is just people viewing the film in the cinema once it is released or viewing on another platform.
The experience of going to the cinema allows people to get out and socialize with friends/family.
