Before a company makes a film
there are a number of things needed to be done before such as ,finding actors
to play character roles (casting),script writing and editing, although the most
important are:production,distribution ,marketing and exhibition.
Here are the five steps taken before a film is made
The first stage is Development in which the ideas for the film are created, rights to books/plays are bought and the screenplay is written. Financing for the project has to be sought and green lit.
Pre-production—Preparations are made for the shoot, in which cast and film crew are hired, locations are selected, and sets are built.
Production—The raw elements for the film are recorded during the film shoot.
Post-Production—The images, sound, and visual effects of the recorded film are edited. .
Distribution—The finished film is distributed (the film is taken to a festival) and screened in cinemas and/or released on Home entertainment. For example adverts on YouTube,TV ,posters or on newspaper front pages the latest movies out ,convincing people to watch the film .Majority of films are distributed on the weekend ,this is because a large amount of regular cinema goers go to the cinema on a weekend ;this is due to being busy during the week.
Marketing is the process of promoting a film.
This can be done in a variety of ways
-Bill boards
-posters
-leaflets
-Press events
-social media adverts
-trailers on tv
-chat shows with actors
-Premiere
-Early preview

The exhibit process is just people viewing the film in the cinema once it is released or viewing on another platform.
The experience of going to the cinema allows people to get out and socialize with friends/family.
